Hello ladies, moms and everyone else!
I’m Charlotte. I am so happy to be here sharing my journey with you. I finally took the leap and am officially sharing my business with the world. I am beyond excited and totally terrified at the same time. This business has been a dream of mine for years, but I kept thinking I needed and wanted to do other things first. After I closed my first business, when my son was 6 months old, I decided that being a stay at home mom was what I really wanted. I mean, I was envious of all those moms with perfectly clean houses, working out in the middle of the day and always taking their kids to the zoo or the beach. Sometimes I still long for that concept of a life, but it is not the ideal one for me. With a lot of introspect and a short project writing a business plan for a friend, I realized I needed and wanted more than being just a stay at home mom. Don’t get me wrong, I want to be home with my son, that is my main reason for starting this business, but I needed an outlet for myself to share my knowledge and passions. Besides that, I am not that good at keeping the house clean, my outings are always Target and somehow I could not find time to workout anyways.
So here I am.
A new business, a happy son, and a husband that is beyond proud and excited I am doing something for myself. This did not come easily though. I took the time to realize what my passions, skills and talents were. Along with who and how I could really help others. I debated dozens of business ideas. Everything from a blog about raising your kids with a love for the outdoors to a food blog to writing business plans for those looking to get investment money. It took time, but I found what felt right to me and what I knew could make a difference to other moms. Through all of this, I kept my main goal in mind; to be able to do it all from home, while still taking care of my son full time. I also want to give my husband the opportunity to go after his dreams too and I had to fulfill this burning desire in me to be everything I knew I was meant to be.
I created this business and community to be a creative and safe place, where moms can support, stretch, connect, inspire and help one another go after our dreams and make them a reality. A place that provides advice, tools and knowledge to design a business that fits the lifestyle you want. A place where you can grow in your personal life too, with tips and guest posts on fitness, nutrition, meal planning, home organization, cleaning schedules, relationship and parenting goodness too. A place for moms to realize they deserve to have everything we want out of life and learn how to make that happen.
With all that being said, I’m not going to lie, somedays are going to be tough.
The laundry and dishes may pile up, the kids may watch one to many shows, your significant other or family members may have to help more on busy weeks, but it is worth it. You are meant to pursue your dreams and passions and make a difference in the world. To live your life to the fullest, in a way that your kids will look up to you and are proud of you.

Somedays will be scary.
You may feel like you are not smart enough, do not have enough time, money or skills or are just not ready to start. I am here to tell you that you are! Get out there and do it already. You are never fully ready, but think of all the time you are wasting on these thoughts. There are people that need your help in what you have to offer. Keep learning and growing and become more of an expert than you already are.
I am here to help you build the life and business of your dreams. I can not wait to meet, talk and support each and everyone of you. Whether it is working with me, through free content or just chatting online.
Let’s all stop wishing, dreaming, hoping and take the leap to create the life and business we want!

What are you going to do today to create the life you want?

Charlotte – you’re speaking directly to me as I watch my kids zombied-out on Daniel Tiger while I hammer away at the laptop… meh. We’ll do quality-time cook prep for dinner. 😉 Congrats on the launch – looks amazing!
