What my Parents Taught me about Buiness

What My Parents -blog

Growing up with parents who were business owners teaches you a lot about business. If anything you quickly learn if you want to own your own or if you want absolutely nothing to do with them. Obviously I always wanted to run my own and learned some valuable lessons along the way.

Check out the video below to learn more.

What I learned:

  1. You have to believe and be passionate about your business.
  2. Business is hard work, but so worth it.
  3. Ask for help - and sincerely thank those that help you.
  4. Trust your gut. You will have to make tough decisions and your gut is always right.
  5. You will have to make scarifies. Determine your non-negotiable and design your business around those.

Starting a business is not always easy, but worth it. Take the time to get really clear on what you want out of your business and what you are not willing to sacrifice. This is imperative to design a business that aligns with the life you want.
